In this powerful video, a TV Star shared Jesus with a 'Back to Future' Actress and changed her life.

Claudia Wells was 18 years old when she earned the role of Jennifer Parker in ‘Back to the Future.’ She shares how excited she was to receive the part because she had gotten so close to landing lead roles so many times.

Claudia lived in LA and was the youngest of three children. She was not a stranger to the camera and loved putting herself into her roles.

It is sadly revealed that Claudia’s mother was an alcoholic and verbally abusive. Claudia shares, "I thought everybody grew up hearing, I regret the day you were born." Claudia says that she was either the best or the worst to her mom, and she had an identity issue. She would control her daughter’s weight and call Claudia fat.

She tried to take her life on her mother’s prescription medication at age 14 and was rescued. Claudia was then found and became bulimic. She was given a role in Herbie the Love Bug and Dean Jones, who talked about the hole inside of her that only Jesus could fill, and she prayed a prayer of salvation that day at lunch with him.

Claudia struggled with her body image as she was the lead actress in ‘Back to the Future.’ Shortly after, her mom was diagnosed with cancer, and she left acting to take care of her mother. After this time bulimia, drugs, and alcohol were struggles of hers for years. In 1992 she went to a rehab clinic and got help.

She started a men’s clothing store called Armani Wells. In 2008 Claudia’s mother passed away. It was then that she realized that her mom was broken and a sinner, just like she was too.

She then realized why she continued to live the way she did. She prayed to the Lord and said, “I am not a mistake,” coming to the understanding that she was an intentional creation of God. She closes by sharing the truth and the power of Jesus being real and that He has changed her life, and she now lives in peace.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
