Malaika, Mahari and Mikaili Foster are a choir of angels with beautiful voices, and today we are in for a treat as these triplet sisters sing, ‘In Christ Alone.’ But before these Jamaican-based beauties perform, one of them explains why this song is just so incredible.
One of them shares, “The only place that we can find forgiveness, the only place that we can find life, and the only place that we can find salvation is in Christ alone.” She adds, “So remember our very existence is in Christ.”
The Foster triplets have been singing together since they were two years old. Their parents realized they could harmonize together even as toddlers so they were careful to nurture this gift. As they grew, their parents homeschooled the trio and ensured they were involved at church and when they weren’t in school or at church, the girls were exploring their passion for music. As they grew older, the girls preferred Gospel music compared to other genres. Through their relationship with the Lord, the Foster triplets were convinced singing Gospel music was their purpose and their ministry!
In 2015, the Triplets released their first album, and their ministry began to grow. Their “sound” is southern gospel mixed music mixed with a bit of contemporary sound. And that’s what makes this Gospel song so incredible.
The video captures their beautiful voices accompanied by a piano. With powerful lyrics like:
In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my light, my strength, my song;
This cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
It’s no wonder why this video is starting to go viral with over 21,000 views and counting!
This worship song is an extraordinary source of strength, encouragement, and forgiveness. Malaika, Mahari, and Mikaili, we thank you for your passion to minister to others through your love of Jesus and music. What an incredible ministry you have and it was such a treat to listen to your music!
