Check out this social experiment where total strangers helped out a girl at the bus stop who was getting bullied.

“At least 1 in 3 kids will be bullied during school,” reads the screen at the beginning of the video. “Up TV set out to ask the question: In an increasingly disconnected world, who will stop the bullying?”

This social experiment was set up to find out if a little girl was being bullied out in the open, would anyone step in? So, they set the stage. And when you see how perfect strangers come to the aid of a little girl being bullied, it’ll restore your faith in humanity!

“Do you have any friends at all? Any ones that aren’t imaginary or your family?” says one of the mean girls at the bus stop while taunting the younger one.

“Well, you definitely do need makeup,” says the other mean girl.

“No, she does not,” says a woman immediately who was sitting within earshot of them at the bus stop.

This happened time and time again. The mean girls would bully the little girl, and any adult that was nearby when it was happening would step in and say something.

“Want somebody to do that to you? You think it’s funny?” says one woman.

“Do you guys have anything nice to say?” says a young man to the bullies.

“How would you like it if someone who was a little bit older than you came and told you that you weren’t any good?” another woman says to the girls.

“Everyone at school calls you a freak cause all you do is read and you don’t talk to anyone,” says one of the mean girls during one of the bullying scenarios. And a security guard who was sitting at the bus stop just wasn’t having it.

“Quit messing with her,” he says to them sternly. “You keep reading. Don’t mess with her like that. It’s not nice.”

A lot of people offered to the young girl to come and sit by them so she could get away from the bullies. One older man even got out his harmonica and started playing for her to cheer her up.
