Comedian Tim Hawkins delivered a side-splitting take on enjoying the free samples at Costco. Tim’s hysterical but oh-so-true commentary on the bulk retailer’s in-store offerings will have you in fits of uncontrollable laughter long after the clip has ended. Check out the short but immensely relatable take on Costco.

In my opinion, shopping is one of the worst, most unenjoyable and miserable activities humans regularly engage in on Earth. Shopping is already bad enough, but grocery store shopping is the worst of the worst. Most people want to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible. However, while that may be the desire, it is never the reality.

It always happens that the thing you need is always in the exact location, blocked by someone who meticulously and carefully reads the ingredients of some mundane, everyday food item. It’s almost like some people have never seen a box of cake mix, Lucky Charms or even bread before. The grocery store isn’t a library, right?

Anyway, we can all agree that the best thing about grocery shopping is the free samples that stores like Costco often offer their customers. In a clip posted on social media, Tim makes his love for the small free food items hilariously clear, even calling it one of his favorite restaurants.

“I ate at one of my favorite restaurants today: Costco,” he said. “That was delicious. Hey, now, I just cleaned them out. Don’t judge me; you know what I’m talking about.”

The audience roars with laughter at Tim’s hysterical statement and observation. He then mimics stuffing sample after sample in his mouth and even under his shirt.

Later in the clip, Tim mentions returning to the free sample station but trying to act as another person.

Grocery store shopping may be necessary, but that doesn’t make it any less awful. However, there are sometimes free samples, which does help make it mildly tolerable.
