There’s something about country music and classic hymns that just goes together perfectly. And one of the greatest voices in country music belongs to Alan Jackson.
Today, this country legend is giving all the glory to the Lord with this beautiful rendition of ‘The Old Rugged Cross.’ There is truly no love like the love that comes from our Heavenly Father. God made the ultimate sacrifice for us when He sent His only Son to Earth to die for our sins. Because of this gift, we are now forgiven and free to live out our days in Heaven above. This amazing sacrifice paved the way to our salvation and it’s something we should give thanks for each and every day.
I’m so glad that Alan Jackson knows how to worship and he’s leading us in this amazing classic hymn. There’s truly nothing better than taking it back to the classics and giving praise to His name. Can I get an amen?
