A 31-year-old voice teacher on America’s Got Talent hit all the right notes during her audition as she performed a hit from the band Coldplay.
Confidence can and does have a massive impact on life. That belief in one’s abilities, talents and gifts will result in people pushing themselves and getting outside their comfort zones. On the other hand, a lack of confidence will hold people back, never allowing them to reach their full potential.
Lachuné, while she admits she grew up in a musical family, never saw herself on stage displaying her talent for all to see.
“I grew up in a singing family,” she said. “I spent most of my years observing them do it. I just never pictured myself actually having the moment to be on stage and things like that. And so, that held me back.”
Thankfully, Lachuné moved beyond those fears and self-doubt because her voice is outstanding. She gave a stunning performance of “Yellow,” a massively popular song from the English band Coldplay.
Throughout her performance, Lachuné demonstrated her voice’s beautiful tone and control. She also displayed that she has quite the range, hitting several high notes.
Her performance caused the entire studio audience to stand up and deliver a booming round of applause. A couple of the judges even joined the studio audience and gave the young woman a standing ovation.
The voice teacher gets four yes votes from the judges. She is completely overwhelmed by the positive reaction from the audience and the judges.
Also, prior to her audition, Lachuné states that she felt convicted to audition while teaching.
She said that as a music teacher, she would always tell her students to push themselves, to go beyond what they thought possible. She eventually asked herself if she was taking her own advice.
She overcame years of a lack of confidence in herself and turned in what was simply an outstanding audition!
