America’s Got Talent standout, Kodi Lee, returns to the stage for an awe-inspiring performance of ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ with Teddy Swims and Neal Schon.
This iconic song was a chart topper in 1981 for the rock band, Journey. This song was inspired by a phrase that keyboardist Jonathan Cain's father would say to him. Anytime Jonathan would get discouraged about his musical career, his father would say, "Don't stop believing or you're done, dude."
“Just a small-town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere”
We first met Kodi when he auditioned for the 2019 season of the popular talent competition. He earned the golden buzzer from judge Gabrielle Union for the emotional performance of ‘A Song For You.’
Before the audition, Kodi Lee won hearts all over the world when he shared that he was blind with autism. But Kodi is a musical prodigy with perfect pitch and audio photographic memory. This means that he can remember music after hearing it only once.
Now, Kodi is back on the AGT stage for another star-worthy performance. Just listen as he belts out the words of ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ with fellow musicians Teddy Swims and Neal Schon.
“Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feeling”
What a delight to see Kodi back on stage where it all started! He’s only gotten better with time and I’m so ready to see what this young man does next.
