No matter what your fear is, no matter how bad you failed, or how much you sinned, he is waiting for you to come to him. In this uplifting message, Joyce Meyer reminds everyone that God is with us all the time.

Early in her walk with the Lord, Joyce was being taught through Christ that he was with her all the time. It didn’t matter if she was going to the grocery store, running errands, or sitting on the bathroom floor feeling the weight of the sins she had committed. God was teaching her he was with her no matter where she was or what she had done.

The fact that God is with us wherever we go or whatever we do might seem like a daunting reality. Yet at the same time, it’s comforting to know his presence is always with us. Joyce says, “A lot of times, we think we want to hide from God when we sin. You know, trying to hide from God has been around since the garden of Eden. That’s the first thing Adam and Eve did when they sinned was to try to go hide.” But we can never hide from God. He knows everything, all the time. Joyce even reminds us that God knows about the sins we will commit in the future. That still doesn’t stop him from pursuing us and loving us.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m glad that God doesn’t reveal to me everything he knows about me. Lord Jesus, just please reveal things about me a little at a time,” she said, and the audience agreed with a hearty, “Amen.”

But this is where the lesson she’s teaching gets good. She reminds us that when we do something wrong, we shouldn’t shrink back and hide from God in fear because fear has no place in our walk with Christ. Instead, when we mess up, we should run directly into the arms of Jesus so shame doesn’t get a grip on our lives.

When shame gets a grip, it can choke our faith and smoother the precious relationship we have with our Savior. Even though it feels like we need to get things in order before we seek his forgiveness, we need to stand on the truth that he is already with us and waiting for us to come to him. Joyce reminds us that we are human and in need of his grace. It takes a lot of courage to face our fears and face our failures.

If you’re watching this video today, know this message was given with you in mind. No matter your fear, no matter your failure, run to him.
