Life is not often a fair experience. Some people seem to have been dealt a more challenging, much more difficult hand than others. Despite everything they may face, some people refuse to let anything hold them back.

The group Born to Perform is made up of the kind of people who persist and persevere. As explained in the clip posted on YouTube, the group is comprised of people with disabilities. Instead of letting their disabilities hold them back, they showed the judges and the studio audience “what we can do.”

After the music starts, a highly choreographed and very entertaining dance number follows for several minutes. The talented young performers’ energetic dance routine almost immediately gets the entire studio audience on their feet, screaming and shouting.

About halfway through their routine, the dancers, one by one, come to the center of the stage and show off their moves. The audience, including the show’s four judges, clearly loved the dance number. There were smiles all around, and some studio audience members were even brought to tears.

At the conclusion of their performance, the young performers receive a much-deserved standing ovation. But the best is yet to come!

All the judges tell the youngsters how much they loved and appreciated their routine. David mentioned that he “absolutely loved” their routine and proceeded to slam the Golden Buzzer, causing confetti to rain down on the stage. Members of Born to Perform cannot believe what has just happened, with everyone jumping for joy and a couple bursting into tears.
