Actor Chris Hemsworth used a ceremony to recognize him for his work in the entertainment industry to honor and thank his wife for her unconditional love and continued support in a heartwarming speech.
Most people would agree that marriage is one of the best things about life. Everyone wants and needs love and support and to know they can rely on and depend upon someone in times of crisis. Marriage provides all of that and then some.
Marriage is a sacred, close and special relationship between a husband and a wife. It provides individuals with love and stability and creates the perfect environment for raising children. But it all starts with love, trust and support between the husband and wife. With those, a marriage will last for a while.
Actor Chris Hemsworth understands how important his significant other, Elsa Pataky, and her love, trust and support are to him, his career and their family. During a ceremony in which Chris received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, he publicly praised his wife for all she does for him.
“I would say, ‘Thank you’ to my beautiful wife, who has been here for my entire career,” Chris said. “Basically, by my side, endlessly encouraging and supportive. And it doesn’t get lost upon me that she put aside her own dreams in order to support mine.”
Later in his speech, the “Thor” actor mentions that whatever he does in life or his career means nothing if his wife is not by his side to enjoy it with him.
The short, 40-second clip ends with Chris stating that he loves his dear wife.
Who wouldn’t want to hear such beautiful words and thoughts from their significant other? All marriages would be stronger if we took a little more time to express how much we love and appreciate our spouse. They are a special individual who deserves to hear it often and be treated as such regularly.
Proverbs 18:22 “Whoever finds a wife gets a good thing, and has the approval of the Lord.”
