Coming to the big screen on January 11th “A Dog’s Way Home” will be your New Year’s fix for a puppy movie! This heartwarming movie tells the adventurous tale of Bella, a dog who was separated from her human and finds her way back home.
Based on the best-selling book of the same name and from the same author of “A Dog’s Purpose” this film is brought to you by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The trailer of this film does give us most of the movie in a nutshell, but what if your heart-strings are easily tugged by the sight of cute puppies and emotional reunion stories, you’ll still want to check this one out.
The movie trailer begins with Bella sharing an important thought, “It’s not the little things in life that matter, it’s the tiny things.” As with many adorable pet movies, young Bella finds her human “Lucas” and their lives quickly become intertwined. But when adult Lucas is not around as much, grown-up Bella finds herself missing their time together. That’s when she makes the awful mistake of getting lost while chasing after a distracting squirrel. Bella now must make an epic 400 mile journey to find her way back home to Lucas. Her journey to be reunited with Lucas takes her on an adventure that brings Bella (and the viewer) to realize, “We all face things that are hard, and the only thing that gets us through it, are the special people in our lives.”
