Kerr James is a name that you are going to want to know. This young boy blows away the global crowd on BGT. He has grit and is a vocal powerhouse. It is unreal. This 12-year-old earns a standing ovation with a powerful Britain’s Got Talent audition.

Kerr is from Glasgow, Scotland, and is only 12 years old. He is asked why he came and auditioned at his age. He shares that he just always wanted to and was excited to perform in front of the judges. They all look excited about his performance. When asked about his big dreams, he responds, “To become a recording artist.” When asked who he aspires to be like he tells them, Freddy Mercury. The judges and the audience were surprised by his answer. This was the lead singer and pianist for the band Queen. The young boy gives a large smile. Kerr brought his mom, dad, and a full clan of family support. The audience and judges cheer him on.

Kerr begins his unexpected performance. His voice is rich and powerful. He sings Otis Redding's, ‘Try a Little Tenderness.’ His flare and vocal runs are spectacular. Kerr is a natural performer. He is rocking and rolling on this audition. The audience claps along, and the judges are in awe. All of the judges gave a standing ovation, and the crowd went wild over his performance. It is incredible. Kerr thanks them. 

The judges compliment him on his voice and his energy as a performer. All of the judges give yeses. This boy’s smile and performance are contagious. He will have you dancing and singing along. Hearing the voice of someone so young reminds us that this is a talent that only God can give. He is definitely glorified in this stunning young man’s voice.
