An elderly man shows he still loves playing music and has plenty of musical talent despite being a century old.
Aging, unfortunately, is a fact of life. With every passing day, hour, minute and second, we get a little older. Attempting to stop it or impede aging in any way will be entirely unsuccessful and only in vain. The best and really the only way to approach getting older is to accept it. What other choice is there?
A video posted on YouTube shows an elderly man, a 100-year-old grandpa, showing off his impressive skills on the piano. It’s truly a stunning display of musical talent, especially when considering the man’s advanced age.
The man in the clip moves his hands up and down the piano’s keys nimbly, producing a beautiful tune. It’s clear that the man has been blessed with a considerable amount of musical talent.
Not only does the grandfather expertly tickle the ivories, but his feet get in on the fun. Seconds into the elderly man’s performance, the video points out the man’s right leg moving up and down to the rhythm of the music.
“The toe-tapping gets me every time!” the text in the video reads.
Again, getting older is inevitable. Time has been, is and always will remain undefeated. However, this grandfather is not letting his age keep him from doing something he still enjoys.
Also, while our bodies and surroundings may change over the years, God and His promises do not. He is the same faithful, loving and dependable God during our 20s, 30s, 50s, 70s and 80s.
His Word mentions several times that He will never leave or forsake us. He’s there when we first become a licensed driver, become a parent, learn we need glasses and in retirement.
2 Corinthians 4:16 “For which cause we do not give away to weariness; but though our outer man is getting feebler, our inner man is made new day by day."
