One young man received a sweet, special, one-of-a-kind performance from none other than comedic actor and musician Jack Black.
Hollywood actors and actresses are often thought of as being aloof, cold-hearted and unkind. Some may even think the people on the big screen look down their noses at the individuals who watch them. That may perfectly describe some people who work in the entertainment industry. But that does not describe everyone in Hollywood, not even close.
A short clip posted on Instagram shows a sweet interaction between Jack and a young disabled fan of his. The video begins with Jack, sporting a long, scruffy beard, kneeling and introducing himself to the young man in the wheelchair.
“Hi, hello there. Hi Abraham, I’m Jack. Nice to meet you,” Jack says as he reaches out and shakes the young man’s hand.
In a quick back and forth with the young man, Jack learns that Abraham’s favorite movie is “School of Rock.”
Jack agrees with the young man, saying, “That’s my favorite movie, thank you.”
The “School of Rock” star then goes into an inspired and impassioned performance of one of the songs from the hit movie. The whole time he sings to the young man, he sweetly and gently holds the young man’s hand.
Near the end of the clip, Abraham even helps Jack out, singing a line of the song from the film.
Jack ends his interaction with Abraham by telling him it was “nice to meet you” and “thank you.”
While Jack’s sweet interaction with Abraham may have only been a few moments, it will likely be something that Abraham will never forget. What a great example of love and kindness!
Jack is a big star who seems to have an even bigger heart.
