Several musically gifted members of the armed forces – the 82nd Airborne Chorus Division – had the audience and the judges on their feet with their inspiring and emotional performance on America’s Got Talent

Life can be overwhelming at times, taking people to their breaking points. Sometimes going on may be an impossible task. Most people are fighting an invisible battle, dealing with something that has them worried, anxious, or stressed. That’s why a little bit of caring and kindness can make a difference.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the 82nd Airborne Division Chorus gave an emotional, inspiring and rousing performance, singing about helping and caring for their fellow man and shouldering their burden. The talented group of vocalists covered NEEDTOBREATHE’s “Brother.”

Their latest appearance on the America’s Got Talent stage begins with the group standing in a v-formation as the camera slowly makes its way down, stopping on the group. The music starts playing, and seconds later, the young woman at the front of the formation begins singing beautifully. Then, a man from the back of the pack steps up and finishes the rest of the first verse.

As the song reaches the uplifting chorus about offering help to those in need, everyone in the group lends their vocal talents. It’s a simple but effective and thoroughly enjoyable performance. The focus is on the song’s positive message and the musical talents of the 82nd Airborne Chorus Division.

The judges and the studio audience adored the performance. The entire room, including all four judges, were on their feet, giving them a standing ovation.

During feedback from the judges, Simon Cowell admitted that he got emotional during their performance.

“And with what you just sang, that lyric made me feel so emotional and so proud for you,” Simon said. “And I want to thank every single one of you for what you do, what you stand for and what you just did just now. Because that’s what I call a moment.”

Psalm 95:1 “O come, let us make songs to the Lord; sending up glad voices to the Rock of our salvation.”
