One talented group of bluegrass musicians gave a rousing and inspiring performance while playing an original piece of music.
Music tastes vary from person to person. Not everyone is going to be into classic rock. Some may not enjoy the musical stylings of Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses and Twisted Sister. Also, some might prefer their music to come complete with a thick country accent. However, others may not like country music at all.
While preferences and tastes are different, people can still recognize and appreciate talent when they see it. Bluegrass music is a genre that likely isn’t for everyone. But The Petersens have shown that they have an abundance of musical talent.
In a clip posted on YouTube, the band plays an original piece of music. It’s an instrumental, as the clip’s closed captions indicate, written by Emmett Franz. The song, “Thunder Ridge,” is written about one of the group’s favorite places to visit in the Ozark Mountains, according to the video’s description.
The group, throughout the four-minute clip, once again shows they have been immensely blessed with a ton of musical talent. Additionally, each band member gets plenty of time to shine, with each showing off their skill on their respective instrument.
The song is a pleasant and easy-listening tune, featuring sounds from several instruments that are severely underutilized in most other genres of music. The talented musicians make the song more than worth several listens.
Additionally, the video is worth watching simply for the hilarious closed captions. “Katie with her fiddle, Moses,” “Julianne chopping on the mandolin,” and “Get it, Mama!” are just some of the hysterical captions that someone included in the video. It shows that whatever band member added the video to YouTube has a terrific sense of humor!
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
