Check out this precious video. A little girl jumps in during a violinist's street performance.
Karolina Protsenko, a well-known young violinist is performing "Levitating" by Dua Lipa on the streets. She is adorable and she dances as she plays. She grins as she plays her song with such passion and joy.
She twirls around as people who are walking by video her performance and onlookers enjoy her art. The video scans around and there are many people sitting and watching, including a lot of children.
Suddenly, Karolina sees a little girl shyly approaching and she walks towards her playing the violin to her and dancing. As she continues into the chorus, the young girl begins dancing around freely and smiling at her mom.
Karolina goes back up to the girl and dances with her as she plays powerfully on the violin. This precious little girl shows everyone that she has the moves and Karolina is so happy to have invited her into the fun. In an endearing moment, Karolina kneels down and plays for the girl and she focuses and mimics Karolina when she dances again.
I love how in this video, Karolina might be young, but she is encouraging and inspiring someone younger than her to dance and join her. It makes us ponder the beautiful gift of discipleship. One generation investing in the next.
God designed us to learn from those older than us and pour into those younger than us. Whoever the Lord has put around, how can we learn from them and how can we love others well?
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
