The men of Celtic Thunder tug at the heartstrings with this beautiful performance of ‘Brothers In Arms.’

This 1985 song was originally recorded by the rock band, Dire Straits. The song was written during the Falklands War and continues to be a powerful ballad, even decades later.

“These mist covered mountains are a home now for me

But my home is the lowlands and always will be

Someday you'll return to your valleys and your farms

And you'll no longer burn to be brothers in arms”

Celtic Thunder is a gifted group of Irish performers known for their opera voices and elaborate productions. The group started out in 2007. Since their debut they have been climbing charts and making a worldwide name for themselves.

Every song they sing truly showcases their incredible talent and the harmonies are even more amazing. And today’s performance is no exception. Led by Ryan Kelly, just listen as these men belt out the moving words of ‘Brothers In Arms.’

“As the battle raged high and though they did hurt me so bad

In the fear and alarm

You did not desert me

My brothers in arms”

As you hear these words, it is a reminder that when we feel all may be lost, God remains by our side. Even in our times of turmoil, He is the constant that is there to give us strength.

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
