It’s truly amazing to see an entirely new generation pay homage to the classics and breathe new life into that era of music. Four men of Anthem Lights sing the nostalgic Doo-Wop medley. It’s a moment you don’t want to miss!
They put together a stunning arrangement of classics with their gift of making music. What better way to reflect the gifts God has given each of us than to share them with the world and enrich the lives of those listening?
The incredible song, “Doo-Wop” song will always remain evergreen and a classic as each new generation of singers harmonize fresh new vocals into the song. And each time, it takes us down memory lane!
The members of the Anthem Lights band, Chad Graham, Caleb Grimm, Spencer Kane, and Joey Stamper blended their voices in a unique harmony to create a mashup of Doo-Wop, Earth Angel, and In the Still of the Night. They even start out this mashup of songs a cappella. The result? A song we can certainly play on repeat all day long and never grow tired of listening to! Their voices harmonize so well.
The Anthem Lights band was formed in 2007 by Chad and former band member Allen Powell. In late 2009 they formed a quartet when Spencer and Joey joined. Since then, this group has been singing covers to Amazing Grace, In Christ Alone, Here I Am to Worship as well as covers to One Direction and Taylor Swift.
But what made this band gain popularity is their incredible ability to harmonize which is reflected in the Doo-Wop medley. This band is showing the world, just how great the classics are with over 18,000 views in a week.
What a beautiful way to sing about the gifts God has given us, like cool evenings, being in love with a special girl, and music! Who else is ready to listen on repeat?
“Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:19
