Check out this trailer for a new family series on Netflix called ‘Country Comfort’ starring Katharine McPhee.
“When her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (Katharine McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Eddie Cibrian) and his five children,” reads the caption of the video on YouTube. “With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, this newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.”
The trailer starts off with Katharine McPhee’s character knocking on the door of a family’s home during a rainstorm. Her truck and cell phone died, and she was just trying to ask to use their phone to call for help. But somehow, she got roped into being their new nanny!
“I think nanny #10 is a winner!” says one of the kids. “10 nannies?! What is wrong with y’all?” replies Bailey, the name of Katharine McPhee’s character.
As the trailer continues, you see scenes of Bailey and the children having fun, getting along, and playing music together.
“I’ve never seen the kids respond to anyone like this,” says the Dad in the show in one of the scenes.
It is clear to see that the children have bonded with Bailey. “I can’t picture our lives without her,” says one of the older sons in a scene in the trailer.
This definitely looks like a sweet, wholesome show that will focus on the importance of family and going after your dreams. If that seems like something you and your family would enjoy watching together, ‘Country Comfort’ will be available on Netflix starting March 19.
