A web camera captured kitty chaos in the background of one student’s speech while she gave a presentation on Zoom.
As we all know by now, Zoom meetings can be tricky business, especially, apparently, if you have a cat.
After writing, rehearsing, and setting the stage for her public speaking presentation, this student began her speech via Zoom for her classmates and professor. With full focus on the assignment, the student managed to finish presenting the speech to her class without any major hiccups or fumbles. It wasn’t until she was reviewing the footage of her speech that she realized the chaos that had ensued behind her as she was presenting.
As we can see in the video, about three-quarters through the student’s presentation one of the curtains in the background begins to shake and move a bit. The student continues on with her speech for a moment without noticing the movement behind her, when suddenly a cat emerges from behind the curtain shaking its paw.
The cat seemingly got its claw stuck in the fabric as it was trying to emerge from behind the curtain, and could not find a way to get it off.
The cat attempts to free itself by tugging on its paw but found little success before proceeding to flail about in the background of the student’s speech.
As the student carries on unaware of the scene unfolding behind her we see her roommate crawls into the frame on all fours in an effort to remain undetected as she frees the struggling cat without disrupting her roommate’s presentation.
While it must have been pretty surprising to see this all take place in her presentation video, I’m sure the student is at least grateful the cat and roommate found a way to handle all their chaos quietly. We hope the student at least got a good grade for her efforts! And we bet that kitty got a little pedicure when it was all over.
