In this sweet and uplifting video, one soccer team in Australia surprises their deaf teammate with learning their club song in American Sign Language.

“Cheer cheer the red and the black, Yeronga devils are on the attack
Every time we play to win, that’s why we never ever give in
Whether the odds be great or be small, Yeronga devils will win over all
Forward loyal devils of Yeronga, go onwards to victory!”

Their deaf teammate is blown away that all the members of the team learned their fight song in ASL! They all share in a group hug after the chant while the deaf team player is signing “thank you” over and over again.

What a supportive group of young women! It is so wonderful to see them encouraging their deaf teammate and making her feel loved and special.

What is one thing that you could do today to make someone in your life feel extra special and loved?

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
