In this impressive video, Peter Hollens performs the song ‘God Help The Outcasts’ from the Disney movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
“I don’t know if You can hear me, or if You’re even there
I don’t know if You would listen to a gypsy’s prayer
Yes, I know I’m just an outcast, I shouldn’t speak to You
Still I see Your face and wonder, were You once an outcast too?
God help the outcasts, hungry from birth, show them the mercy they don’t find on earth
God help my people, we look to You still, God help the outcasts where nobody will”
Peter sings all the parts of this beautiful song and blends them all together in this fantastic video. He also beautifully hits that high note at the end of the song. What an impressive and talented man!
“Gorgeous vocals! This one definitely pulled at my heartstrings,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “The lyrics are so meaningful and poignant in any time. The lighting effects are so perfectly timed. Beautifully done, Peter!”
“I am literally shedding tears of how beautiful this cover is,” writes another person on YouTube. “This is one of my most favorite covers and look forward to the next one buddy.”
