Contemporary Christian artist Natalie Grant leads us in worship with a beautiful rendition of ‘It Is Well With My Soul.’

As she sits beside her husband, they use this moment to remind the world that God is always in control.

“When peace like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul
It is well
With my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul”

‘It Is Well With My Soul’ was written by Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss. After Horatio lost all four of his daughters, he wrote down these words as a testament of how God is with us through the good times and the bad.

Currently, we are facing a global pandemic with the Coronavirus and that has caused so much fear and anxiety. The words of this classic hymn are the perfect reminder that when we hand it all over to God, He will see us through each moment.

“Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul”

Psalm 46:1-3 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
