This tune was originally written and recorded by Walter Hawkins back in the 1970s. This Grammy award winner spent much of his life writing worship music and spreading the message of our Lord and Savior.

Today, another group is continuing his legacy by recording their own rendition of Walter’s classic song. Just listen as these five men belt out the words of ‘Goin’ Up Yonder.’

“If anybody asks you
Where I am going
Where I am going soon
I’m goin’ up yonder
I’m goin’ up yonder
I’m goin’ up yonder
To be with my Lord”
