The classic Christmas carol ‘We Three Kings’ was originally written in 1857, but it still remains a beloved favorite today. The unmistakable deep sound combined with beautiful imagery truly makes this song a hymn we look forward to singing year after year.

‘We three kings of orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse afar
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.’

Today, talented husband and wife duo The Hound + The Fox are performing this special Christmas song. Reilly and McKenzie Zamber are joined by another stunning voice, Tim Foust. You may know Foust as part of the viral a cappella group Home Free. As soon as you hear these three belt out the iconic lyrics, a picture of Bethlehem and the manger scene immediately comes to mind.

‘Oh, star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright.
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide with thy perfect light.
Born a King on Bethlehem’s plain,
Gold I bring to crown him again
King for ever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign.’

Surrounded by endless sand, you can truly feel the weight of the words with every single note. There’s no doubt that this trio is giving all the glory to God and it’s such a great reminder of the real reason for the Christmas season.

Matthew 2:10-11 “When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.”
