The beautiful music by Leonard Cohen makes ‘Hallelujah’ one of my all-time favorite songs. And this ‘Christmas Hallelujah’ version is even more special! Caleb is one of the founding members of Anthem Lights, and Kelsey is his gorgeous, godly wife. They’re a beautiful couple and obviously so talented! Their voices harmonize together perfectly, and they sound like they were made for this song!
The powerful lyrics begin with the birth of our Lord and Savior:
I’ve heard about this baby boy
Who’s come to earth to bring us joy
And I just want to sing this song to you
And they continue to tell the story of Christ’s birth:
A couple came to Bethlehem
Expecting child, they searched the inn
To find a place for You were coming soon

The final verse is probably my favorite:
