Check out the official movie trailer for Disney’s “Dumbo” in live action. Thanks to the newest movie remake craze, Walt Disney’s “Dumbo” gets its shot at a live action film, and this time it’s directed by Tim Burton.

For many children of the 80’s and 90’s it seems like the movie companies are really marketing towards that generation, by remaking their childhood animated favorites into live action films. Judging by what is revealed in Disney’s official movie trailer, the signature dark and moody influence of Tim Burton’s direction will be very prominent. Those familiar with the story of the floppy-eared elephant will agree this dark style fits well with the mood of the overall plot. Following the sad tale of the tiny, big-eared elephant named ‘Dumbo’, a box of tissues will most likely be necessary when watching.

Dumbo is separated from his mother and consequently destined to live his life as a circus act. With the help of some young, caring humans the adventure swirls around reuniting the mother with Dumbo and finding a way for the little elephant to overcome his fear of using his special gift – flying. With modern CGI technology, a very believable integration will make for a great new way to showcase the amazing flying pachyderm! Even the whimsical circus environment comes very much alive in this live action portrayal. Along with the caravan of expected characters, the movie includes a star-studded line up of recognizable actors such as Danny Devito, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Eva Green and Alan Arkin. No feathers in your nose required, but you can “fly” to theatres on March of 2019 to see this old favorite in a new light on the big screen!
