Amy Winn was diagnosed with MS nearly two decades ago. MS is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system. This debilitating disorder has left Amy confined to a wheelchair.

Today, her son Stephen is getting married and that’s something every mother looks forward to. One moment in particular is the mother-son dance at the reception. Amy wasn’t sure how she would get her picture-perfect moment, but Stephen stepped up in a big way.

When the music started to play, Amy’s son picked her up out of the wheelchair and held her in a tight embrace. Then, with her son giving her all the support she needed, Amy and Stephen were able to enjoy an emotional dance together.

Everyone in the crowd could sense how special this moment was and they couldn’t help but cheer at the end. What a touching moment between mother and son that neither one of them will ever forget.
